WILLIAMSON COMPANY’S PROVINCIAL TOUR

Theatregoers in the principal North Island provincial towns will bo pleased to hear that Messrs. J. C. Williamson’s brilliant comedy-drama company, which finished its three weeks'’ season at the Grand Opera House, Wellington, Inst night, is to apppear in the following towns prior to its opening an extended season as Auckland. —Wanganui. May 30 and June 1 (“Fresh Fields” mid ‘‘Night Must Fall’) : Hnwera. June 2 (“Fresh Fields') ; New Plymouth. June 3 and 4 (“Fresh Fields” and “Night Must Fall); Palmerston North. June 5 and, (>. (“Fresh Fields” and "Night Must Fall”) ; Hastings, June 8 and 9 (‘‘Fresh Fields’ anr “Night Must Fall") : Dannevirke, June 10 ("Fresh Fields”) ; Tuihnpe, June 11 (“Fresh Fields”). This amazingly versatile company, which has captured the Wellington critics and endeared itself to Wellington theatregoers, is headed by Ethel Morrison and Elaine Hamill, two distinguished New Zealanders who have achieved the highest success in Australia and elsewhere. And they have in association with them such theatrical notabilities as Harvey Adams, Campbell Copelin. Katie Towers. Phyllis Baker. Lloyd Lambic. Connie Martyn. Arthlir Lane.
