RETURNED SOLDIERS
Otago Units’ Reunion Smoke Concert Several hundred ex-servicemen forgathered at the Returned Soldiers’ Association rooms last night, for the reunion smoke concert of Otago units in the Great War, when the years of active service to their country were recalled, and war-time cameraderie renewed. , , Colonel A. B. Charters occupied the chair, and replied to the toast of the Otago Units, proposed by the Hon. W. Perry, M.L.C. Colonel J. Hargest. M.P.' paid tribute to the fallen. Other speakers were the Hon. I’. Malte, M.L.C., Colonel I). Colqtihouu. Mr. J. Spence, Mr. G. A. Vincent, Mr. C. Campbell and Mr. G. Ilayton. Major ‘F. C. Chegwin acted as trumpeter. Entertainment was provided by Mr. J. Duncan, Mr. G. Ilayton. Mr. S. O'Connell and Major T. G. Hislop.
