Malnutrition Among Otago Children Dominion Special Service. Dunedin, May 2S. Dr. Grace Stevenson, medical officer of schools in Otago, briefly refers to the subject of malnutrition among children in this district in, the course of her annual report. "So much has been said concerning malnutrition among young children and the methods to combat it in previous reports that one hesitates to make fresh statements,” she says. “All I can add is that my figures over the period —tlie year 1D34 and tlie year 1035 — now .show a definite increase in tlie conditions of sub-normal nutrition and malnutrition.”
