TIN CONTROL SCHEME
Move to Include Other Countries (British Official Wireless.) (Received May 27, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, May 26. A communique issued by the International Tin Committee in London tonight says that in view of the.diflieulties the committee felt in establishing probable exports from Bolivia, they had decided that the quota for the JulySeptember quarter should be considered at the June meeting at Paris The tin control scheme ends on the last day of this year unless it is renewed. The four participating States, Bolivia, Malaya, the Netherlands East Indies and Nigeria, are willing to con tinue control provided Siam, Belgian Congo and other producing countries join in on satisfactory terms. A communique records favourable progress in the negotiations with Belgian Congo and the early opening of negotiations with Siam.
