Further Denunciation By Mr. W. J. Polson By Telegraph—Press Association. Dannevirke, May 20. Mr. W. J. Polson, M.P., addressed the largest meeting of farmers and others held at Dannevirke for several years. He spoke on the policy of the union and the Government’s Socialistic programme on the lines of recent addresses at Hastings and Gisborne. He denounced the dairy marketing legislation, among other things. He received an attentive bearing and a unanimous vote of thanks. FARMERS ENDORSE WORK By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, May 29. At a large meeting of farmers representing Poverty Bay. Wairoa and Hawke’s Bay, held at Wairoa yesterday. the following resolution was carried unanimously: “That tiiis meeting heartily applauds the work that Mr. W. J. Polson has done on behalf of the farmers of New Zealand as president of tiie Farmers’ Union and as a member of the House of Representatives.”
