Union Cargo Service The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in its intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella is to load at Newcastle tomorrow. completing ar Sydney for New I’l.vmouth and Wanganui. The Kairanga left Wellington last Saturday for I’ort I’irie to load for Auckland. The Karetu ift to load at Newcastle about May 28 and completes at Sydney for Bluff. Dunedin. Timaru and Lyttelton. The Karopo is to clear Greymouth this week for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Kokerangu is to leave Newcastle tomorrow and Sydno.v on Saturday for Auckland and Wellington. The Omana is to load at Adelaide at the end of this month and completes at Edithburg, clearing there on June 2 for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Waikouaiti. from Newcastle, Sydney and Hobart, is to leave Dunedin to-mor-row for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge. The Waipahi. from Newcastle and Sydney. is to leave Suva to-day for Auckland, wliere she is due next Tuesday The Waitaki, from Melbourne, via southern ports, is due at Wellington to-mor-row. She will leave again on Saturday for Melbourne, via Bluff. MAIMOA CLEARS MONTEVIDEO. Cabled advice ha.s been received by the Shaw. Savill Company that the Maimoa cleared Montevideo on Monday. She left Auckland on April 25 for London. Avonmoutli. Cardiff. Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. CHIFUKU MARU AT AUCKLAND. The Y.K.K. Line steamer Chifuku Maru, from Japan, reached Auckland yesterday. She is to leave the«<' again on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Wanganui to complete discharge, thence tn Australia to load for Japan. Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., are the local agents. AORANGI LEAVES VANCOUVER. The' C.-A. motor-liner Aorangi was scheduled to leave Vancouver yesterday for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on June 7. CAPE HORN AT AUCKLAND. From Los Angeles via Papeete and Ramtonga, the I’nion Company’#; chartered motor-ship (’ape Horn reached Auckland early yesterday morning. She is to leave there again to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Australia to complete discharge and is due here on Sunday. MIDDLESEX SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company the Middlesex left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. J. B. Williams has joined the Kaimai ns second officer, relieving Mr. D. J. Rutter for orders. Mr. J. L. Watson joined the Waipiata aS third officer, relieving Mr. A. Woods, who has transferred to the Kairanga, relieving Mr. R. Watson for holidays. Mr. J. A. Noble has joined the Monowai as fourth officer, relieving Mr. J. L. Hughes for orders. THE NELSON SERVICE. The Anchor Company announces that the Matangi is to withdraw from the Wel-lington-Nelson ferry service toward the pud of this month for annual overhaul and survey. The service will then be maintained bv the Arahura and Kaitoa. While the Matangi is under overhaul the Arahura will leave Wellington on Tuesdays. Thursdays and Saturdays, and the Kaitoa on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. PORT HUNTER AT HALIFAX. Cabled advice has been received that the Port Line steamer Port Hunter reached Halifax last Sunday. She left We’lington on April IS fnr Halifax and Lonfon, via the Panama Canal. CANADIAN VICTOR DUE TO-DAY. To complete her loading, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Victor is due at Wellington to-dav from Lyttelton, and will berth at the King’s Wharf. She is to leave here again to-morrow for New York, Boston and Montreal. TAMAROA IN PORT. To complete her Homeward loading, the Shaw. Savill liner Tamaroa is due at Wellington this morning from Auckland, and will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. Slip is to dear this port finally at 5 p.m. next Monday for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. TANKER BEDUIN. With bulk motor-spirit from Batum for the -Associated Motorists’ Petrol Company, the Norwegian motor-tanker Beduin arrived in the stream nt Wellington yesterday evening from Dunedin. She will berth this morning at the Pipiten, Wharf to discharge drums of oil and will later move to the Point Howard Wharf to discharge bulk petrol. Sh« is to leave here on Saturday for San Pedro. A tanker of 8200 tons gross, the Beduin is on her maiden voyage. ZEAL'ANDIC AT LONDON. Cabled advice has been received that the Shaw. Savill motor-shin Zealandic reached London on Tuesday.
