Sir Harold ami Lady Beauchamp left’Wellington for the north yesterday afternoon. Mr. G. W. Hutchison, Auckland, who has been visiting Wellington, left yesterday for the north. Mr. A. Grayson, who has been visiting Wellington, left yesterday afternoon for Auckland. Dr. R. A. Shore, of the Health Department. travelled north last night from Wellington. Mr. C. E. Robertson was a passenger from Wellington last night for the north. Mr. W. W. Mackersey, Dunedin, is paying a business visit to the North Island. Mr. E. W. Swain. Oriental Bay, accompanied by Mrs. Swain, has left for a motor tour of the South Island. Mr. Alan T. Mitchell, .E„ Wellington, will leave by the Rotorua on Thursday for England, where lie has accepted a position with the General Electric Company. Birmingham. Mr Mitchell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mitchell. Wellington. Mr. A. J. Dingle, of Wellington, who recently carried out the work of reconstructing the two Marlborough Aero Club Moth machines after they had been fairly extensively damaged in crashes, has now been permanently engaged by the club as its ground engineer. Mr. G. A. Troup, who has been president of the Wellington Boys’ Institute since 1922, was again elected to that position at the annual meeting of the institute last night. Illness prevented Mr. Troup from attending the meeting, which expressed its sympathy with him and passed a motion wishing him a speedy recovery. The Minister of Public Works, Hon. R. Semple, who presided, said that Mr. Troup was wrapped up with the work of the institute, and was one of the pillars of the movement.
