Dental and Medical Supply At the annual general meeting of share holders of the Pental and Medical Supply Company, Limited, yesterday, the chairman of directors. Mr. J. S. Macartlinr. moving the adoption of the report and balance sheet, said that whilst the total working expenses had shown a small increase the percentage of expenses to sales was down in comparison with several years immediately preceding. Provision had. as usual, boon made for the depreciation of fixed assets and for bad and doubtful debts. Tlie result of the year's trading showed a not profit of £1992/13/1. This amount, with £315 9/9 brought forward from last year, made a total of £2308/2 z lO now available fo" dividend. The directors, therefore rocom mended flip pnymout of a 3 per cent, dividend which would absorb £1733/18/10 and leave £574/4/- io carry forward to next year. During the year the directors decided to have alterations made tn the company’s building in Wakefield Street Io provide for four shops on tlie ground floor. The work was now in progress and the shops should he ready in about two months' time. Mr. W. E. A. Gill seconded the chairman’s motion which wa s enrr’eil wifhoni dismission. The retiring director. Dr E. W Gi” son, was declared re-elected. On the mo--fion of Dr. Morice. and seconded hr Mr J. A. Young, the auditors nt each of the four centres were re-elected.
