Decision Meets Mixed Reception By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May IS. In a professional catch-weight contest between Cyril Pluto, of Australia, and Fred Fisher, of England, Pluto gained the decision on points at the end of 12 three-miuute rounds. The Australian had the better of the first three rounds, but the next few were even, and then Fisher came strongly over Hie later stages. He knocked his opponent down for a count of five in tlie last round and had him out on his feet when tlie final gong went. The decision mot with a mixed reception. A second professional bout was staged between (wo middle-weights. Jim Broadfoot, of Auckland, and Marine Ryan, of 11.M.5. Dunedin. Tlie latter scored a comfortable win on points at the conclusion of five (hrce-niinuto rounds.
