Competitors For Ncyv Zealand Titles Dominion Special Seuvice. Auckland, May 15. The annual winter sports gathering to be held at Tongariro National Park at the end of August and the beginning of September, promises to be by far the most important yet field in New Zealand. In addition to the championships of tiie Ruapehu Ski Club and the New Zealand ski championships, the first Inter-Dominion ski contests between Australia and New Zealand will be decided. A team of six Australian skiers under the leadership of T. W. Mitchell, who has twice previously visited the Dominion and won tiie New Zealand ski running championship, will visit Ruapehu to compete with the best skiers from boll) North and South Islands. The personnel of the team has not yet been announced, but it will include both men and women. Several other Australian skiers are likely to take part in the meeting in a private capacity. In addition, Colin YY'yatt, a noted English amateur ski-jumper anil racer, who will be visiting the Dominion, will take part in tiie meeting, and contests between him.
