TRANSPORT CONFERENCE CONCLUDED
The Minister of Transport. lion. R. Semple, again attended the conference of motor transport operators at Wellington yesterday, and beard representations on various clauses of the Transport Amendment Bill. He took a note of these, ami it was stated that be undertook as far as possible to meet the wishes of the conference. About 70 operators attended the conference, ever which Mr. D. Banebop presided. The conference concluded yesterday.
