RIMUTAKA DEVIATION
Wellington Mayor’s Support Dominion Special Service. Masterton, May 14. In connection with the Rimutaka raiway deviation, the Mayor of Master ton, Mr. T. Jordan received a telegram from the Mayor of Wellington, Mr T. C. A. Hislop, to-day, offering to assist in any way lie was able, because he realised that the development and settlement of the Wairarapa and ini provement in the railway communication between the two places was of vital importance to Wellington.
