Mr. J. R. McKenzie left Wellington last night for Christchurch. Dr. J. Cairney, Hawera, arrived at Wellington yesterday from the south. Mr. R. Hudson, Dunedin, left Wellington last night for the north. Mr. B. C. A. Aston has been reappointed to the council of the Royal Society of New Zealand. The Rev. J. K.
