DIVORCE CASES
Decrees Nisi Granted Decrees nisi Mere granted in two undefended divorce caws in the Supreme Court at Wellington yesterday. The Acting-Chief Justice (Mr. Justice Reed) was on the bench. Charles David Free, carrier, Miramar, petitioned for divorce from Elizabeth Free, Plimmerton, on the ground of. misconduct. George Crombie, machinist, Plimmerton, being cited as co-respondent, and £l5O damages being claimed. Mr. J. D. "Willis appeared for petitioner. A decree nisi to be moved absolute in three months was granted, and the jury, after hearing evidence, assessed damages at the amount claimed. Lillian Deacon, for whom Mr. 11. Taylor appeared, was granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, against Edward Horace Deaeon, commercial traveller. Wellington, on the ground of separation. The hearing commenced before a jury of the defended petition of Thomas Bradley. labourer, Wellington, for divorce from Constance Margaret Bradley on the ground of misconduct, D. P. Cameron, restaurant proprietor, Mastertou, being cited as co-respondent and £5OO being claimed as damages. Mr. ,1. D. Willis appears for petitioner, Mr. J. M. Laing for respondent and Mr, C. C. Marsack (or co-respondent.
