CITY GIRLS CONFER
Y.W.C.A. Meeting “Let us make it more!’’ said an enthusiastic business girl at the gathering of representative girls of city firms last night, in the midst of lively discussion as to the goal to be aimed at in the forthcoming finance drive to be organised in the mouth of June. Representatives of both large and small firms were entertained at tea by the Y.W.C.A. last night, and iu a bright and cheery atmosphere they once again promised to rally round the Y.W.C.A. as they have done in past years. The sum of £5OO has been fixed as an objective, and a committee set up to devise a scheme which will help to achieve this sum. Ideas for the opening of the drive were discussed, and the representatives will this week consult their various firms as to ways and means, and make further plans at the second business girls’ coniuiit.tee next week.
