The purchase of 200.000 rainbow trout ova from the Internal Affairs Department, was decided upon by the Vi ellington Acclimatisation Society council this week.' There allocations were decided upon as follow: Brown trout fingerlings, Pahiatua 1000, Mangatinri 2500; rainbow trout fingerlings, Hunterville 4500, Kororau Dam 3000, Lake William 1000, Mangaweka 1500. Iwas agreed to supply the Feilding society with 25,000 rainbow fry at I<>/a thousand. It vas greed that the perch season be altered to June, July and August, the license fee to be o/-.
