Keen Bidding For Crossbreds By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, May 13. Catalogues submitted at the wool sales to-day aggregated 8895 bales, including 4480 New Zealand, and 7284 were sold. A moderate selection, mainly New Zealand wools, met with keen competition from the home trade. Prices generally wore maintained. New Zealand greasy merinos, “Bichill.” made 17d. highest and lojd. average; scoured merinos, "Irishman, made 2Sd. highest and 26 3-Sd. average: greasy Imlfbred, "Stanley Downs.” sold •it Kild, highest and 13}d. average.
