London Funds Unchanged MOVEMENTS IN DEPOSITS The weekly statement of assets and liabilities of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as at the close of business on Monday, May 11. is as follows:—

Major changes are shown this week on the liabilities side. The note issue at £10.134.663. shows a decrease of £122.799. Call liabilities to the State total £8.914.813. an increase of £437.955. Trading banks’ deposits show a decrease of £201.407, the total now being £5.205.266. Other demand liabilities at £83,582 have decreased by £42.927. Other liabilities are £78.207. nn increase of £917. On the assets side, sterling exchange is steady at £23.915.145. a decrease of £299. Gold remains unchanged at £2.801.733. and subsidiary coin at £203.065 is lower by £129. Investments at. £1.816.663 have increased by £1275. Other assets total £182.926. an increase of £7O,S9e. The statement balances at £28.919,532 11/9, an increase of £71.739/1/4.
