Dr. F. G. Soper, recently appointed Professor of Chemistry at Otago University, will sail for New Zealand from London in the Aknroa on June 12. Mr W M. O'Hara, of the Malay States, who has boon in New Zealand since he flow the Tasman toward the end of last year, left Auckland for Sydney by the Monowai on Friday. Rev. Alexander Hodge, of Auckland, is at present visiting Christchurch to conduct a short series of public meet ings at the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church. Mr. W. Thomas, District GovernorElect of Rotary in New Zealand, and Mrs. Thomas, will leave Timarn lhi< week for the United States, where Mr. Thomas will attend a conference at Atlantic City of Rotarians from all parts of the world He will be in stalled as ’District Governor of New Zealand for the year.
