Prayer For Peace

Sir, —I hope the clergy of Wellington noted the letter, in your paper of April 29, calling ou people of goodwill to pray for peace. If the Christian churches all over the world would concentrate all their power on spreading goodwill, much might be done. It is not sufficient to have prayers in the church. Let every Christian person of goodwill use the prayer several times daily with all the concentrated power possible, and back it up by radiating goodwill in the daily life. The prayer was as follows: —"Let the forces of light illuminate all mankind. Let the spirit of peace be spread abroad. May men of goodwill everywhere meet in a spirit of co-operation. Let power attend the efforts of Christ and His Church. May forgiveness on the part of all men be the keynote of this time.” —I am, etc., GOODWILL. Hastings, May 2.
