Transfers and Awards Cable advice has been received from London by Colonel Barclay, chief commissioner of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, to the effect that the jubilee celebrations of the St. John Ambulance Brigade will follow the coronation function next year. The transfer of Mrs. A. G. Miller, lady divisional superintendent of the Rotorua Nursing Division, to the Brooklyn pursing Division, supplementary to establishment, has been approved by the chief commissioner of the brigade overseas. His Royal Highness the Grand Prior has approved of the issue of the service medal of the Order of St. John to Ambulance Sister A. Phillips, of .the Wellington Suburban Nursing Division. Cadet proficiency badges have been issued to the following members of the Wellington Cadet Nursing Division, who have qualified in the subjects mentioned:; —Dulcie Pye (exercises, hygiene, fire fighting, public service). Betty P. Rogers (borne nursing, ’ physical exercises, hygiene, cooking). Jessie Wakeling (physical exercises, hygiene, cooking, publie service), Mary McClure, (hygiene, cooking, fire fighting, public service), Pauline B. Christie (home nursing, welfare, hygiene, fire fighting). Patricia Mexted (physical exercises. hygiene, fire fighting, public service), Doreen I. Boyd (homecraft, physical exercises, hygiene, public service), Moya Barraclough (home nursing, fire fighting, physical exercises, public service). A proficiency badge has been issued to Cadet Mona Sefton, of the Miramar Cadet Nursing Division. who has qualified in tire fighting, cooking, swimming, and home nursing.
