PARISHIONERS’ MEETING

4, St. Luke’s Anglican Church The annual general meeting of parishioners of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Wndestown, was held on Monday evening in the Parish Hall, the vicar, the Rev. J. E. Ashley-Jones, presiding over a good attendance. The following were elected on the vestry:—Vicar’s churchwarden, Mr. P. 11. Gwynn; people's churchwarden. Mr. R. Liggins; vestry, Mcsdnmes Kindred and Adams, Messrs. It. 11. Heaney (treasurer), F. Temple Clere (secretary), L. C. Hemery. T. King. W. Ferguson, I*. E. Pike. C. 15. Goddard and 11. Allison; auditor, Mr. G. T. Withers. A vote of gratitude was passed to all those who had worked for the church and so generously contributed financially. St. Anne’s Church, Northland. The annual general meeting of St. Annc’f, Anglican Church. Northlaud, was held recently in the St. Anne’s Hall. There was a very good attendance of parishioners. The following were elected on the vestry:—Vicar’s churchwarden. Mr. F. Cotterell; people’s churchwarden, Mr. Edmund Jones; vestry, Mesdames Honsa. Adams and Mahoney. Messrs. G. A. Taylor, C. I). Miles. G. Durham, H. Guise, W. Platt and C. W. Groves; treasurer. F. Cotterell; auditor, Captain F. Macindoc. Mention was made of the good work done by Mr. E. I). Good and regret was expressed at his inability to accept office this year. Votes of thankp were pnss<V to all who had worked and contributed for the church. The vicar reminded the meeting that Mr. Edmund Jones, people's churchwarden, was 92 years of age now.
