New Hart-O’Brian Revue at St. James This Evening Now firmly-established in public favour, and accepted by the thousands who have seen its productions, as far and away the best revue company to visit Wellington for many a season'/ the Hart-O'Brian com pany will present a third new programme, "Why Go to Baris?” commencing at the St. James Theatre this evening. Heading the company are-Janice Hart, a swarthy, dashing brunette, and the irresistibly-comic Frank O’Brian. In ad ditiou to her vaudeville and revue work, Miss Hart has gained international fame as a radio performer, and <she has develop ed such au affection for the microphone that an amplifying system is used in several of her numbers, some most unusual effects being obtained. In previous productions Hiss Hart has formed ah effective pivot for very effective ensembles with the ballet and mannequins. Possibly the most versatile comedian Wellington has ever seen, Mr. O’Brian, appears to have no difficulty at all iu keeping merriment nt an exciting pitch Ably led by Mr. O’Brian, this company seems to have realised that speed and spontaneity are essentials of a smart revue, and there have been no annoying pauses in their previous programmes. An act which , has created a sensation wherever it has been seen is the worldfamed “fan dance.” Mademoiselle Desiree will present the fan dance in “Why Go to Paris?” and reports place her as one of the moat able exponents yet seen.
