Dancing Stars
A FTER “Follow the Fleet,” now completed, “Ginger,” Rogers and Fred Astaire —newly a father—are to make “Never Gonna Dance,” for R.K.O. It will probably see the light of day under its original title of “I won’t Dance.” By the way, in “Follow the Fleet,” towards the close, the couple dance before a lighted pillar, and in this scene one of the most striking three-dimensional effects yet secured in cinema photography can be detected.
