WOMAN VOTES TWICE
l Committed For Sentence By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, March 19. Charged with personation by voting twice at the last general election. Mabel Jackson, a single woman, aged 34 pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. She said she knew that she had been foolish, but “wanted Mr. Parry to get in.” She had only once voted previously, and did not know she could not vole twice at the same election. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed.
