Humane Society’s Medal For Rugby Player A Rugby footballer, Mr. R. Hull, was presented with the Royal Humane Society’s bronze medal for saving life, at the annual meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union last night. Mr. W. Hornig, the president of the union, in handing the medal to Mr. Hull, described how lie had saved a boy named Morrison from drowning at Evans Bay in August last, and nobly attempted to save the life of another boy. Mr. Hull’s noble actions on this occasion, he said, had gained the admiration of all the Rugby players in New Zealand, and of the whole community of Wellington. Mr. P.
