Intention of Belgium
Brussels, February 4.
The Premier. M. Paul Van Zeeland, announced in the Senate the Government’s intention to increase armaments in view' of the unsettled world situation.
“Belgium’s attitude is unchanged," lie said, "but she must lie strong to uphold the League Covenant.”
