Gathering at Eastbourne
The Eastbourne Yachting Circle had an enjoyable outing ashore during the week-end, many enthusiastic members and friends attending. After an alfresco luncheon, the afternoon was devoted to tennis and swimming and various novelty entertainments provided bright interludes. Special competitions were arranged by the committee, the winners being Mr. Wilfrid Jarman and Mr. lan Johnson. Among those present were: Mesdames Bowden. Ames, Robinson, McMipi;, Moore, Misses A. Pragnall, L. Kelly. A. Kean. F, aud E. .Smith, I, Small, L. Hod-son-Hodson, M. Freeman, A. Bowater, N- Leach, K. May-Entwhistle, Hetty Johnson and Cara Thwaitcs, and Messrs. Ames, Stark, Smith, Tosswill, Jarman, Jenkinson, Moore, Wilson, McMinn, Johnson, Oscar Johansen, Barnes, Bunny, Torlesse, Grant, Robinson, Ramsbottoiu and Tompkins.
