MAORI BOY KILLED
Struck by Motor-truck By Telegraph—Press Association Rotorua, January. 20. Fatal injuries were received by a Native named Haira AVbareaitu, IS years of age.'when he was struck by a truck while running across the roadway in the vicinity of Whakarewarewa late this afternoon. W. Costello, driver of the truck, swerved sharply to the right, side of the road in an effort to avoid an accident, but AVbareaitu was struck and received severe head injuries. After being attended by a doctor he was ordered into hospital, but died before admittance to the institution.
