XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it 3-' is the intention of the Wellington City Council to introduce in the forthcoming Session of Parliament the Wellington City Reclamation and Empowering Bill. The objects and purport of thd Bill are:—(l) To vest certain land situate in the sea-bed at Lyall Bay containing in all 26 acres 2 roods 18 perches more or less in the Corporation lor an Aerodrome and to authorise the Council to reclaim the same. (2) To authorise the Council when a street has been extended in part along the seafront of such reclamation in or near the position of the area shown as proposed new street on the plan hereinafter referred to, by resolution to close that portion of Moa Point Road shown on the plan hereinafter referred to and therein coloured green. (3) To authorise the Council to borrow for the purposes of the filling in and reclamation of the land to be authorised to be reclaimed and for the construction of a proposed new street and for the levelling of such land and completion thereof as part of the Rongotai Aerodrome, any moneys necessary for these purposes by way ot Special Loan within the meaning of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926 by Special order and without taking the steps prescribed by Sections 9 to 13 inclusive of this Act. A copy of the above Bill and a plan of the land which it is intended in such Bill to take power to deal with and to vest in the Corporation have beeu deposited in the Magistrate's Court, Lambton Quay, 'Wellington, and also at the Town Clerk's Office.
