London Wool Sales A HARDENING TENDENCY The Bank of New South Wales has received the following cablet, advice from its London oflice, dated January 17: - Wool in all qualities is in good demand and very firm, with prices tending to harden. Greasy merino, market shows a hardening tendency ; scoured merino, except best descriptions, par to 5 per cent, advance, crossbred greasv, best descriptions, par to 5 per cent, advance.. Compared with last London sale’s closing, rates, slipe crossbred, best descriptions, market shows no material change. Other descriptions advanced 5 per cent.
