PRESIDENT’S CUP
Annual Bowling Tourney
The annual match for the President's Cup took place on Saturday last between the Lower Hutt and Petone Bowling Clubs, and resulted in Hutt securing eight •wins and Petone four wins, the Hutt club thus retaining the trophy. Details of play are as follow, Hutt players being mentioned first: —■ Hutt green: Eraser 16. Cates 13; Slinn 21, Allen 14; Howatt 12, Hunter 19; Shearer 29, Melhuish 20; Hodgins 19, Weddell IS; Davidson 19, Ibell 11. Petone green: Baker 20, Beynon 21 : Norris 14. Linklock 22; Wilson 20, Cowrie 25; Parker 25, McArthur 20; Teagle 24, Hawken 12; Roundhill 21, Silberry IT.
