Masterton.— Overcast, with several light rain showers; light northerly breeze. . Wanganui.— Rain fell on Sunday night; yesterday was dull and overcast with occasional showers; muggy atmosphere. Waipukurau.— Slight rain in early morning, followed by dull but warm day. Auckland.— Showery and humid; heavy rain fell during morning; moderate northerly wind; temperature at midday 74deg.; barometer fell slightly to 29.65 in. Christchurch. — Overcast but fine, with fresh south-westerly wind; maximum temperature G7.7deg.; barometer steady at 29.75 in.
