Trotting Driver’s Two Cup Successes PLANE TRIP IN BETWEEN By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, December 27. Enterprise was rewarded when F. Holmes drove Graham Direct to victoryin the Auckland Trotting Cup to-day. Driving Roi I’Or, Holmes won the Ashburton Trotting Cup on Boxing Day and then came to Auckland by aeroplane to take part in the Auckland club’s meeting. He was congratulated after the race to-day bv the Prime Minister, Hon. M. J Savage, who said he appeared to be a flying man in trotting and in every other way.
