COUNTY ENGINEER
Southland Appointment By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, December 10. Mr. G. R, Milward, who lias been 'acting chief engineer of the southland County Council, was to-day appointed to act permanently in that capacity, while Mr. B. C. Basstian, who has been long associated with the county as chief engineer, takes over certain special engineering works.
