Keen Competition Uy Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright, (Received September 30, 10 p.m.) Sydney, September 30. At the wool sales to-day, 10,3-16 bales were offered, of which 8762 bales were sold at auction; aso 548 bales were sold privately. Competition was keen and brisk, chiefly from J_apanese and Continental buyers, with good support, from Yorkshire on suitable lines. Prices were well up to those of last week. The average price of the wool sold at Sydney last week was £l5/4/8 a bale, or ll.Td. a lb.
