Andrews at Forest Hills TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS New York, August 29. E. D. Andrews, the New Zealander, easily won his opening match in 'he national tennis championships at Forest Hills, defeating Frank Broida 6-3, 6-4, 6-3. Although play was sometimes ragged on a poorly-kept field court, Andrews played a hard-driving game in which he scored many placements. Broida showed his best form in the second set, which was carried to 4-all, but Andrews broke through his service in the ninth game and won his own service in the tenth from 40 love.
