Douglas Credit Movement NEW ZEALAND PROSPECTS London, August 28 Interviewed by the “Sun-Herald” news agency following the triumph of the Social Credit. Party in the Alberta elections, Major C. H. Douglas, author of the Douglas Social Credit plan, said he expected that the system would make great strides elsewhere, including Australia and New Zealand. There were prospects of its immediate success in New Zealand, particularly if the Social Credit Party obtained the balance of power at the Canadian Federal elections.
