SECOND HOCKEY TEST
New Zealand University Team Beats Suva

Suva, August 28.
In the second hockey test the New Zealand University team beat Suva by two goals to one. The visitors were superior to the home team in tactics and stick-work. Suva, who were slow iu following up. were frequently beaten for the bail. The first score came when McEwan sent a long pass and Ford netted. Soon after Suva equalled, Moore flicking a back-hander past Hercus. There was no further scoring in the first half. New Zealand dominated the game in the second spell with fast, short passing rushes. Ten minutes before time Lawry wont in close and netted to win for New Zealand, who were still attacking when time was called.
Tlie visitors were entertained at a welcome ball at the Town Hall on Monday. Yesterday they defeated a local women’s team by four goals to one. An official dinner was held this evening.
