A HAZARDS QUERY
A correspondent writes from Wanganui: “In the game of hazards how many chances has a )»erson of throwing an eight or a six? Also, do the odds concur with the chances on the dice?” There arc live ways of throwing an eight, and five ways of throwing a six. The odds concur with the chances on the dice, as there are six ways of throwing a seven, and the odds are six to five against any number being thrown. —Sports Editor.
