Warburton fe a Wellington visitor to Wanganui. •Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Hopkirk nave re-, turned to Wellington from Wanganui. Miss A. Veitch, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Cornish have returned to Wellington from Wanganui. Mrs. D. A. Aiken has returned from a visit to Suva.

Mrs. W. B. Taverner, Dunedin, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Bowie, Auckland, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. Roy Towle, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Tweed, left Auckland by car yesterday for Wellington. Miss Helen Steele, “Tahunga,” Gisborne, is visiting the Misses CouttsMoon, Kelburn.

Miss Erica/Bridges, Wellington, is in Christchurch staying with her aunt, Miss M. Cotterlll. Mrs. Lyndon Bastings, Hawke’s Bay, is at present in Wellington, and is staying at 90 The Terrace. Mrs. Lester Murray, Marlborough, and her three small children are in Wellington for a few days, and are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel.

Miss Sheila MacGregor, Hawke’s Bay, will arrive in Wellington this week to be the guest of Mrs. Cheviot Bell, Lowry Bay. Mr. and Mrs. F. Jolly, Mr. and Mrs. Harbottle, Mrs. A. Lees, Mrs. Cowles and family are guests at "The. Majestic,” Paraparaumu beach. Miss Elsie Graham and Miss Roe will be Wanganui visitors to Wellington this week to attend the League of Nations Union Conference. Mesdames B. Williams. Hastings, and W. E. Waldegrave, Raetihi, are the guests of Mrs. A. E. Wylde, Makirikiri, Wanganui. Miss M. Holderness, Wellington, has arrived .at Christchurch to stay with her sister, Miss Holderness. She will leave next week for a short visit to the "West Coast.
