THEFT OF OVERCOATS
Two Men Remanded ' Two men faced charges of theft of overcoats In the Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning before Mr. E. D. Mosley, SM. Both were remanded, and in each case Detective-Sergeant L. B. Revell, who prosecuted, said that other charges were pending. . Ronald Raymond Webster, ships steward, aged 27, was charged stealing an overcoat valued at £u 15/-, from Harold Thomas Lown, and was remanded .until September 3. Victor Reginald Donkin, labourer and motor-driver, aged 21, was charged with the theft of a coat, valued at £2, the property of a person unknown, and was remanded until August SO.
Idle and Disorderly
A charge of being idle and disorderly was preferred against Robert Sydney Johnstone, salesman, aged 28, and on the application of Detective-Sergeant L. B. Revell, he was remanded until this morning. Bail was fixed at £5O, with a similar surety. Mr. J. Meltzer appeared for accused.
