RESTRICTED TURNOVER By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, (Received August 27, 8.10 p.m.) Sydney, August 27. On the Sydney Stock Exchange investment values on the whole tended lower to-day. Buyers were inclined to be reserved and the turnover was restricted compared with that of a month ago. The principal activity in the gold section was the Fiji issues, most of which moved on the up-grade. Fui/her weakness was displayed in the gilt-edged market and in corporation debentures.
