MAN FOUND DEAD
Injuries to Throat Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, August 27. A labourer, John Storey, aged 38, was found dead in a room at an hotel at Shannon this morning with injuries to his throat. Mr. Storey, who was a native of Scotland, and a single man, had Jived at Shannon for six years. It is understood that he had been in a depressed state for some time, and had intended to go to Palmerston North Hospital for treatment.
