The Wellington Beautifying Society is to lie assured of the New Zealand Forestry League’s co-operation in its efforts to beautify the city and its surroundings, but tbe council of the league decided at its last meeting to hold over a request that it should appoint a representative to the Society. In response to a letter from the league asking that further trees should lie planted in the Karori Cemetery for shelter and beautification, the City Council indicated that more trees would be planted there this year.
