LABOUR DAY
Emphasis on 40-hour Week
Preparations are well in hand for the celebration of Labour Day, October 28, by the Wellington Trades and Labour Council.
A feature of the day this year will be emphasis on the movement for the 40-hour week.
At the next meeting of the council committees will be appointed to organise details of the various activities connected with the observance of the day.
