Badges and Ferns Change Hands There was a good attendance of bowlers at tlie indoor bowling green in the Wellington YVinter Show building on Saturday afternoon. The indoor badges, which are botfly contested every Saturday, again changed hands. The result of the latest match was Holders: Bryce Duncan, Edwards, Wearne (s.), 17. Challengers: Urquhart, Whitecomb, Taylor, McCune (s.), 18. The ferns have changed hands twice recently. Last Saturday week they were won by O’Donnell, Boocock, Hansen, I’riddie (s.). That rink was met and defeated by Bell, Allen, Austey, and Johnstone (s.), 20-16. Then Johnstone's rink was challenged by Wrigley. Ridley. MeWhannell, and Wellings (s.), and after a hard game Wellings won 21-20. Friendly games played on Saturday resulted as follow: —Healey beat Mather, 18-15; Conder bent Ross, 21-18; Rodger beat Holland. 20-6; Lyuneberg beat Ilowse, 2.8-9; Ricketts beat Bland, 21-16; O’Gorman beat Raven, 22-13; Johnstone beat English, 21-16. There Yvill be another rink tournament to-night commencing at 7 o'clock.
