SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
The next concert of the Symphony Orchestra will be presented in the Town Hall on August 6. A very fine programme has been arranged, which will contain items that will please everyone. From the four characteristic waltzes of Coleridge-Taylor to the almost ethereal airs of the Prelude to “Lohengrin” and the more serious music of the symphony and concerto, there is pleasure for all who love good music. The grand organ will be heard in conjunction with the orchestra, with Mr. Charles W. Kerry as organist. The orchestra under the baton of Mr. Leon de Manny, has been considerably strengthened, ami may be confidently expected to do some line work.
