City Corporation Staff Dance

The Concert Chamber of the Town Hall was hung with flags aud its stage decorated with the dark green of camellia leaves aud vivid pink of the blossoms, last night, when the Wellington City Corporation staff gave its second dance of the season. The social committee consisted of Miss James (salmon pink mariette), Miss Fitzgibbon (black velvet), Miss Cochrane (deep powder blue taffeta). Mr. 11. E. Nicholls (secretary). Mr. Wate, Mr. Malcolm, Mr. Smith. Mr. Roberts, Mr. MacGregor, and Mr. Gilbertson. During the evening Miss Barbara Thorburn and her partner gave an exhibition dance, and an attractive tap ballet made a pleasant interlude between dances.
