New Zealand Butter Up to 92/-

The London butter market is firmer this week, with an advance of 2/- a cwt. for New Zealand, which is now quoted at 92/-, the highest level since last February, when the United States was buying. At 92/- New Zealand butter is at the highest point since October, 1933. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan Ltd., London, the following cabled advice dated July 23; —New Zealand butter, 91/- to 92/-. Firm. New Zealand cheese: White, 44/-; coloured, 43/6. Firm. A. 11. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their principals, W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., dated London.
